Camping

Flaming Gorge Reservoir offers some of the most beautiful and scenic wilderness and wildlife areas in the country.

Camping reservations are suggested for most weekends and holidays.

Reserve USA handles reservations. Call 877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov.

We suggest these two campgrounds which are located within close proximity of Lucerne Valley Marina:

Lucerne Campground is located right next to Lucerne Marina and overlooks Linwood Bay:

NEWLY REMODELED. Loops A, B, & C, & D all have electric hookups. A,B,& C loops have a 16 x 60 asphalt pad w/parking spur, a concrete picnic table & fire ring, some sites have a windbreak. Loop D has a 16 x 60 asphalt pad, tent pad, canopy picnic area (some sites do not have canopies), concrete picnic table, and fire ring. Loops E & F are the standard single sites without electricity but have a picnic table, cabana and fire ring. There are two shower buildings located in Loop B & D. The Group site in H has a pavilion, access to a restroom, and can hold 4-6 RV’s & numerous tents. The terrain is mostly high desert with a few trees throughout the campground and it offers the best access to the lake.

Stateline Cove Campground:
Dispersed beach camping on the sandy shore of Flaming Gorge is located a mile from the marina on the Utah/Wyoming border. The terrain is high desert with no trees and sandy beaches. It is a great place to spend the weekend with the family.
